I was trying for over the last hour to log in with not much success, I was being asked to enable cookies, but my cookies where enabled, it was only this site that I could not log in to.

Anyone else had any bother?

This has now become a regular occurrence, every time I try come to this board I have to delete cookies, and log in again and again.

Everything was fine until yesterday.

I have ran VS and several spy-ware/ad-ware removers, all comes up clean.

Running winxp pro.

Formatted on Sunday afternoon, reinstalled windows and now this Sad

All other boards I visit I have no problems with, it's just this one.

It must be the site surely?

If all other boards I/you visit are fine with cookies, then why do we have trouble with this one.

I like coming on here its fun, but bloody annoying now Crying or Very sad

could it be your explorer.... i use msn explorer and never had a whisper of a problem with it...... or FB either.... aside from the usual system down thing that the site does occassionally.

I feel if it was IE then I would also have problems with other boards I visit, but I don't, but then again I am no computer boffin.

I can keep refreshing pages on FB and have np with that, it's just when I leave the board and return at some later stage Confused

I'm second guessing for the mo, it may have been something to do with my IE7, I have just removed it and reverted back to IE6 and all seems ok up to press.

If it was IE7 at fault then I apologies Embarassed

EDIT: Well that was short lived, all out of ideas now Sad

you dont need to reboot.

if you change your ie settings to automatically delete cookies on closing the browser, you just need to close all ie windows and then open it again

Right, it seems my problem was the index.dat file in the cookies folder, I had to d/l this program from here http://www.milincorporated.com/milshield2.html

It cleaned out the index.dat file and all seems ok now.
