i hope he does great things. my problem is that i like the bastards in power, because the bastards are usually terrible people that do terrible things, but generally we know about them and can therefore have a chance at dealing with them.

the smilers and the promisers in the past hide everything or start some form of genocide, though i guess america already did that.

It would be naive to expect any change whatsoever, more of the same. how nice of him to reassure the c.i.a. they will not face prosecution for torture if they were just following orders, they must all be very pleased. If you look hard enough you will find that obama has broken nearly every promise he made in the first month of office.
the only chance for america was probably ron paul as he was the only one who swore to uphold the constitution.
