From Hanady Salman, an editor at As-Safir:

Dear friends and colleagues,
You will all have to excuse me for sending this. It's pictures of the bodies of babies killed by the Israelis in South lebanon. They are all burnt. I need your help. I am almost certain these pictures won't be published in the West, although they are Associated Press pictures. I need your help exposing them if you can.

The problem is these are people who were asked to leave
their village, Ter Hafra , this morning , within two hours , or else ... So those who were able to flee went to the closer UN base where they were asked to leave. I think that after the Qana massacres in 1996 when civilians were bombed after they took shelter in UN headquarters , the UN does not want to be responsible for the lives of civilians. A few minutes ago, the Israeli asked the people of Al Bustan village in the south to evacuate their homes. I am afraid massacres will keep happening as long as Israeli actions are unchecked.

Please help us if you can,
Hanady Salman

Just out of curiosity, are you a lecturer?

Or you can find a lot of propaganda.

It's interesting how Hezbollah think it's ok to fire missles at Isreali civilians any time they feel like it, but if any Lebanese civilians die it's a terrible evil massacre. Rolling Eyes

Interesting to note that israel seems to be "leaving" some of the hezbolla rockets intact so they can say well look they are killing our civilians as well thus prolonging the conflict
good for business eh?

as a mother (and a bloody human being!!) i find those pictures extremely disturbing. why is it that the casualties of war tend to be mostly the babies and the people of the country that the war is trying to "liberate"?????? i wonder how our more sensitive members of society would feel if it was thier children pictured dead, bleeding and forgotton on the internet! not fkn well happy anyway!!!

my cousin's family live in the leb and she and her husband are extremely concerned for their safety. they have not been in contact for a while now.

Killing civilians isn't good for business, so if there were some military targets easily available, I'm sure they'd take those first.

Especially since dozens of rockets are hitting just one village every day.

Very difficult to say what is and isn't real in these times, those pictures are framed to elicit a specific response. Ah well, cynicism can take you so far; even make you sound callous.

The real questions is:
'What is the purpose of this offensive in terms of a global agenda'
'Whos agenda is it supporting'

Somebody could follow the money and see where that leads...

I wonder if modern technology will allow you to do this?

excellently argued, she was mauled from the start. I agree also, it is isreal who are guilty... though capturing and killing isreali's, however many times it has been the other way round is still not justified... though it is understandable

Mr Galloway picked up a parlimentary seat in london (obv he's native political ground is scotland) on issues very similar to this. He has his political future invested in this type of issue...

He has taken the highly emotive side to this issue, one that is aimed at his niche political market.

I just wonder why the Lebonese army didn't stop Hezbollah?

You are correct!

The Americans and Saudis set it up - poor Hezbollah and Israel were just patsies.

These things are like an onion. Some people take off one layer and start screaming over emotive pictures and Illuminati b/s not realising they are doing just what is wanted.
