Home >> World-issues >> The internet and CO2
24.01.2009, 13:50 quote
Two searches on Google produce as much Co2 as heating a cup of tee.
So in order to save energy, just reduce your searches on Google and look it up in a book - or drink your coffee and tea cold

Excellent topic!
In addition, books actually lock up carbon - up until they are burned or composted anyway.
11.06.2011, 17:16 quote
This may be an old thread, but its still 100% relevant today.
Another tip on how to reduce CO2 emissions whilst using the internet is to learn to hold your breath for three minutes at a time... so that exhalations of CO2 occur once every 3 minutes instead of 16-30 times per minute...!
