Alrighty.

So Saturday a man named Eugene Terblanche (spelt differently but i cant be arsed to check it) was murdered at his home by farm workers. ET was the leader of the AWB White communist party who ran the country during times the world knows as Apartheid.

if someone if offended by racism please stop reading now.

So, two black farm workers were arrested for the murder which apparently was over wage disputes. They whipped him hose pipes and chopped him with panga's. Which is a long savage blade usually used in the Congo and such places.

Thats where the BBC coverage ended.

Let me tell you about the ANCYL- The ANC youth League. Which is like a sub section of the ANC who are the leading party in SA. The ANCYL is run by a guy named Julius Malema. Who happens to be one of the biggest racists in the country. Recently he was at a rally at a university in JHB singing "Kill the boere [Farmers].." Amazingly, the government said it was freedom of speech. After many appeals, the high court over ruled that and deemed it hate speach and have finally banned the Song.

So, could the two be linked? Alot of white south africans think so. i have an image from a fan page of Julius Malema where one of his ever so loyal followers kindly posted what was going to happen to the country.

Exhibit A-

http://img251.imageshack.us/img251/1461/93588860.jpg

So one has to ask, eye for an eye, or turn the other cheek?

If you're on facebook, search Julius Malema, go through some of those things. The fact that this guy has so much power and influence has put every white South African on ice. News24.com says since ET's murder, the AWB has had 3 000 application entries. Its sort of tearing a rift down the middle. And right in the middle of it- The government sits with their fingers up their asses and orders themselves new cars. Its a fucking circus.

Now, alot of you might be thinking "ah but when you guys did it whawawa" The Aparteid ended a while ago, officially April 1994 but even before that. Still fair that young adults are getting it now?

To add another string to it, with the World Cup coming up, what sorta image is that going to paint to the rest of the world?

As the pic I posted the link for shows the mentality of some of the people, all i can say is its really savage. before you say "so was apartheid" I just wanna bring something to your attention.

Yes, it was racist and what not, BUT, there was a working, safe reliable public transport system, for blacks and whites. Black people went to schools, had educations, had housing, running water, access to medical facilities. All of that is non existant now. Why? Cause the ANC want big houses and flash cars! The current president spent 5 billion rand refurbishing his mansion when he was elected, 5 billion. Thats what, just under 500 million pounds? A party to unite the nation? yeah fucking right.

Im not sure how many people are familiar with the Farmer killings in Zimbabwe a few years back, "Land reform" old Mugabe called it, well its happening in SA now too. there's an average of 120 farmers killed every year, of course the number is set to rise now.

Then there is the story about "Die nag van die lang Messe" night of the long knives. look it up on wiki.

Its sad really, at one stage the country was doing so well, now its on the verge of going to shit cause idiots keep getting voted for. My second home country to turn to crap, I was born in Zimbabwe :S

Thanks for that, very interesting news although very upsetting.
I was also born in Zimbabwe and seeing this happening to yet another once beautiful country is such a shame!
I too agree that what the "whites" did during apartheid times was wrong but they also created a strong economy and although the treatment of the black people was wrong, they were much better off in quality of life.
I really hope that something will stop South Africa heading the same way Zimbabwe has, two thriving countries ruined by greedy politicians. Very sad.

yeah, but this happens to every country. including in UK
racism from minorities is far bigger
and the Guvernement sucks
wile in Britain is a "crunch", Gordon Brown want to give laptops to over 270.000 families with low income for their childrens(that might be ,at least one laptop)
and, one laptop, accounted at about £1180
I wonder what's Brown's part from that deal !!!
sorry, moving out of the topic....

I get that "marry Britain" all over London.
wile living in Paris, I heard the same thing about France.. wile Governements "invest", they mediatise the bigg Issues :
London Olimpics,"war on Terror",saving the banks (actualy, saving the pensions ,but leaving the house owners to lose their house) and all that crap.wile, on the internet we'll see adverts:
"looking for eastern European to do that and that.... for the same, half price than the locals ,but as the wage that was 6years ago, when I came here..
that's discrimination. but you wouldn't see it on the news.
and you wouldn't see on the news that I pay taxes, but I am not entitled to benefits, as my nationality got special restrictions ,here, wile .on the 20floors tower ,next to the house I live, there aren't more than 20 people working. because all is free..
people die everyday...
here, one guy got shot,on monday morning.
in the same day, in France, got some other.
and the same..in other countries.....
is just that the Media is controled and make up a huge thing from what they want.
I will go tomorow and argue with my neighbours about my right in Britain,to work.. and somebody could record me, put it on youtube, then here we are....RACIST,Hate against Britain,Unwanted romanian on our soil....
there was a thing on the Romanian telly, last week. about an "interlop"(local mafiot)
he savagely beated the his 19 yers old GF .and was the daughter of a police oficer.
the father said that he's afraid.. for his family.because the court didn't arested the guy.
well. that's another version of the media,to make a big thing, because they need to change the local autorities ,for new ones. the actual ones are being paid by these guys, and the political campain is paid by the same guys.
and,the suprising thing, is that you wouldn't see another thing like that on the telly.
even then there are girls (and belive it or not)which are beated even worse. but Media, take out what they want.
here is the video http://www.antena1.ro/news/social/update-s-a-lasat-snopita-in-bataie-imagini-socante-102973.html

is not something to enjoy, but something to make you understand what means "even worse"
sorry about this run over your topic
Embarassed

I had 2 friends from Zimbabwe . and they had 2 leave the country because they were whites and the state took their house.
is really sad. but can't change it.

Obviously media cover up alot, its what they do.

Ever place has crime, someone gets stabbed, shot, beaten, like your "a guy got shot here" while you do have those rimes, they're not really on the same scale.

You were comparing laptops to genocide :S
