HEY..everybody check this out, go to the groups section of flirt box, then to politics, in there youll see a guy who started a group claiming to be protestant and proud or some nonesence like that..lol but the problem is he cant spell protestant...weird...and why oh why does he think protestantism is a political group?

to me this guy is simply out to (rock the boat) and cause trouble amoung the lovely people in the flirt box community....

religion is a personal thing ans should be kept that way, it should be kept out of politics...

beware of this guy people...

hes obviously up to no good...

Religion and politics are intwined. Where do you think the morals and principles behind laws come from? It's impossible to seperate them as religion (when most nations were founded) tells people right from wrong (in theory).

Sounds like a Loyalist. I wouldn't worry the majority of people see through that crap quickly enough.

Jesus! What a well informed and observant suggestion. Sorry but for FFS!

Personally I would have classed him as an asshole and left derivation of his religious/political stance out of it.

How many other groups of people do you know that put protestantism to the fore and look for trouble at the same time?

I don't care what you'd personally do. If the guy puts a particular personal characteristic forward as superior he can expected to be labeled because of it.

I dont see him asking for trouble? The only person suggesting he was going to cause trouble was the founder of "British out of Ireland" "political" group! I tend to question my sources, dunno about u?

I think u kinda missed the irony (or was it sarcasm?). His beliefs, whatever they are, are his beliefs. They are as valid as yours or mine. Labeling them "crap" is kinda trivialising them.

I don't see how he's putting it across as superior. Its a forum. People are free to put forward pretty much anything, within reason. Nothing particularly offensive with his group apart from the spelling but sure alot of people on here spell words phonetically anyway and given he's in Glasgow maybe its the way he says it.Dunno.

No i didn't check the source. The op suggested he was, at the time that was enough for me. I didn't do my job properly.

I trivialized and dismissed them out of hand because i didn't want a debate on loyalism/republicanism etc etc etc starting on this thread. This being a predominantly British Site, i think we can do without opinions being aired on these subjects. As no one did anything wrong i couldn't fairly edit or lock the topic.

We already outlined this. I took the OP's word for it.

Islam is tied up in politics though. Muslims want to create Islamic states which are states run acordding to Islamic law. This I think is one of the causes of Islamic militancy.
