What would concern me is the women who would wear it for the sadist value.

For example, say your out at a nightclub, hook up with some girl, take her home and sleep with her, its mutual except shes either wearing one of these deliberatly or has forgotten to take it out, you'd pretty much be guaranteed a conviction then even if you were innocent.

On the flip side, i do think its an extremely good idea, plus the fact that it has to be surgically removed would make it extremely easy to catch rapists, the dna on the device from the woman would link it to her, and any hospital could just call up the police if a guy comes in asking for one to be removed.

Some women are such bitches though I wouldn't trust them to use such a device honestly. It could easily be abused by a woman offering a man she had a grudge against sex while wearing such a device inorder to trap him and set him up.

A good alternative would be for a woman to just shove a plastic bag inside her filled with stinging nettles. That way it would hurt a rapist like hell but would not cause any lasting damage and would not have to be surgically removed, therefore could not be used to set innocent men up.
