What if they are constantly thrown up so that we doubt their veracity and in doing so believe the "truth".

A kind of state sponsored double bluff where info is "leaked" to the public via sources seen by many as disreputable/lacking in credit/whackos etc thus making the real "truth" seen as nonsense?

Or are they just cobblers anyway and sometimes a cigar is simply a cigar?

MICHEAL JACKSON STILL ALIVE. LIVING WITH ELVIS IN SECRET UNDERGROUND BUNKER!"

... Yeah, you have to be careful with conspiracy theories. Some can be extremely well thought out and thought provoking; others, like the one above can be complete and utter rubbish. By the way, this was one of the ones included in the daily mail when Jackson died.

The problem with conspiracy theories is they are very liberal with the truth. They twist things with plausible explanations just to try and make a mountain out of a molehill. The theory that the lunar landings were faked is a good example of this. Plenty of 'evidence' that not everything was hunky-dorey, which turns out to be glaring oversights on the conspirators part - especially given none of them have any expert knowledge on these things. Unfortunately though, there's many people out there who like to jump on things like this, desperate to believe that the world is a corrupt place full of lies and slander, and that the government and organisations are out to control and manipulate us.

The global consciousness is shifting to make way for a new state of being, monetary values will not be as important as they have been in the past. People will become more telepathic so there will be no point in lying, goods and services will be exchanged with love and compassion and what you need you will get, and what you want may come your way if you truly believe it......these are just some things that I believe, but to eliminate the negativity of materialism and dense matter, we call upon the VIOLET FLAME... just think of the colour violet and imagine being immersed in that colour..... it is healing, it is loving it is compassionate.

There was one recently of a space walk outside the shuttle. The video showed what appeared to be a bubble zooming past one of the astronauts and also a zoom-in close up of the visor which showed the reflection of a ground mounted light which was not visible in the background of the shot when zoomed out again. The angle of the reflection would have put the light between the two astronauts but there was no artificial lights to be seen. Also a reflection on the wristband of one of the astronauts didn't make any sense, it appeared to be someone's foot in a diving fin.

The whole video gave the impression that the scene was taken in an underwater training tank and then altered to make it appear to have been taken in space.

Now, the big question is: Was it a real spacewalk doctored to make it seem like a conspiracy or was it really taken underwater and doctored to make it look like a spacewalk?

A conspiracy theory about conspiracy theories, I love it!

I do like Conspiracy theories, don't believe any of them really. The invention and imagination that goes into a lot of them is astounding. Tolkien, Rowling and Pratchett couldn't come up with some of them between them after a night on Absinthe and LSD.

I don't believe our government does itself any favours by burying things under official secret laws that are well documented by other nations, like the Rendlesham Forest incident. The American Freedom of information act ensured that the report was public almost immediately, when it took our government years to release it. Clearly something happened there, and by burying it people will just speculate further, whether it was anything supernatural, extra-terrestrial, etc is a different matter entirely.

I think worms are conspiring with their humanoid controller to weaken the Earth's tectonic plates, by burrowing deep underground, causing the plates to shift, resulting in tidal waves, earth quakes and massive subsidences of the planetary surface down into the Earth's substructure. I believe the UK Prime Minister is behind this, and that he uses an old VHF radio transmitter to control these worms. He must be stopped at all costs, for his rubber skin does little to mask his true alien presence in our limited atmosphere. I came to this conclusion after talking with a fisherman baiting a hook beside a man-made lake, who was also complaining of the stench caused by a passing bone-works lorry along the M60, as we heard David Cameron being voted into Parliament - via a Radio 4 broadcast. Huh, and Cameron didn't even know we were onto him. Well, he does now.

The hardcore conspiracy theorist is mentally ill.

I do quite enjoy watching them attempt to debate their points. Usually some feckless young male posting youtube videos. Then after they have failed to persuade anyone of their madness is true calling everyone a shill or a dis-info agent.

I think Stephen Hawking gets given things to say and doesn't really write it all... I think he's being used by Sooty!
