This airplane had problems with the wind in Hamburg 2 days ago....



Nobody got injured and the plane could land a little while later safely...

I was thinking abort way before that. That was some crosswind. These guys are really good so that wind must have been horrible. I was out on my bike here in england in that weather.

There are some crazy landings on you tube and some really stupid 747 pilots as well that do not deserve to have their licenses. Full bank turns at low speed in a 747 in less than a mile turn radius is asking for trouble.

He did very well and almost pulled it off.

I work about 3 miles from RAF St. Mawgan, and all this week they have been doing training in the new Eurofighters and some other (really big) military planes too.
There is a parking area RIGHT near the edge of the runway, so you can watch the planes fly in over your head to land, I think it is great especially as they come in really low too.........
