I think we all do. don't we?

I tend to be a little pedantic with my posts (as with my other writing), but this is to hide the fact that I actually have very little education (almost none, a mis-spent childhood – not that I’m thick or anything )

I can type quite well, and have a ‘typer-friendly’ keyboard, but sometimes my fingers get mixed up and I end up typing, for example, something like ‘finsihed’ instead of ‘finished’

Schpellink mishtakes? Me? Oh dear.......

My old man had loads of old-timer British bikes in collection, including a couple of Enfields. Did you respray that one? It looks a bit darker in the photo than the Peacock blue model they did. I've only had one old-timer myself, a 1940 Indian Scout (long gone, about 20 years ago). Now I've got a nice pair of Duffs Henley trainers (would lol be appropriate here?).

Duffs are quite poular down this way. Once I get paid for some work I'm doing, I'm heading off to St Ives (Cornwall, not Cambs, probably next week) for a fresh supply from some surf shops down there (usually have sales around this time of year).

Yeh, those old American machines are quite 'bulky', but being a big fella, I always felt like I was perching on top of anything smaller, and I kind of like comfort more than speed.

My ancestor was Oliver Cyril Godfrey he won the 1st of those motorcycle races on the Isle of Man on an Indian, can't remember what year it was but I'd love to get hold of the postage stamp that was issued with him on it, if anyone comes across it.

Oliver Godfrey won the 5th IOM TT (1911), not the 1st. I think if you're looking for a stamp from that far back you might have more luck trying some of the online stamp auction houses, or perhaps a philately-related community site.

I'm not articulate enough to have more then one persona, I have to keep things nice and simple

Too be honest, some people will cause one or two problems for themselves if the don't use smilies or 'lol'. Some of us have to be told when people are joking
