So Tevez has demanded that west ham utd rip his contract up.
How the hell does this idiot think he is. He signed the four year deal, and now cause the big boys have become interested he thinks he can just quit!

Tevez is trying to bully the premier league into submission, and he should be banned for this.
As far as i am aware of the rules, this is illegal tapping up by utd. They are talking to a player without the constent of west ham utd and unsettling him.

Utd should be taken to court over this. Hope they burn...as for tevez he can join them on the pike.

what do you lot think....

I think you need to calm down mate. Very Happy

He's just a little Argie twat. But most footballers are like this nowadays unfortunatly. I'm not saying we shouldn't try to stop it happening, just stop getting so po'd.

Laughing thats what I heard too!

As for Tevez, He's good, considering he's only 23 and I've been aware of him for 7 or 8 years (he was a hot prospect as a youth, and continued to grow as a footballer). I'd like to see Tevez come to old trafford he is quality and the best place to nuture talent is at old trafford, but I'd also like to see a few leave mentioning no names but Fletch, O' Shea ......

I agree that Berbatov would be a quality signing, but thats probably not going to happen, Martin Jols' aware that he could be the spearhead to Europe next season. But yeah, would be a class signing.

I just don't see Tevez fitting in with Uniteds' style of play..

Fletcher? O'Shea? Nooo! I can't believe you said that! They are under rated IMO!

I would really love it if we got rid of Saha, brought in Berbi, got rid of Silvestre and Brown, and brought in...who cares, anyone has to be better than them!

I can understand what you mean about the style of play, but thats been said about players in the past, even about my personal hero Mr Cantona, but look at the wonders he performed, Ronaldos' first season or so he was called by a lot of fans for being a selfish showboat, but look how well he turned out last season. I just think it would be good to see if he could make it at a club like united he is a great talent, so we could no doubt sell him on at minimum loss in a season or two.

I also agree that saha should go the lazy b**tard, I'm sure he thinks there is no offside rule and therefore no reason to get back onside once his teammates have the ball.

I liked O'Shea in his first season but since then, he's just been a waste of space, save for a moment or two of footblling intellect. same goes for Fletcher, only I didn't like him in his first game, cant see him going though, being Fergies golden boy.
Browns Quality, solid at the back, I know he made a few mistakes, but nowhere near as many as the teabag (Phil Nev, Gaz Nev is a legend), and again I agree, Silvestre should be binned, should have been before we signed him.

I wonder if Jol would be interested in a few signings to replace Berbi..

There's a lot of difference between Cantona and Tevez! Cantona...was..wow. Tevez doesn't have anything special to me.

Ronaldo was always good - you could even see that in his first season at old trafford - he's just got better, it's scary(but good!)

If United want to carry on winning titles, and trophies...we need to keep the squad pretty much as it is. Yes - maybe change one or two players..But I do think Tevez would be a mistake.

Saha...he doesn't even KNOW what the football looks like - or the goal. Use the stadium as a rough guide, eh?

Brown? Solid? He makes me nervous whenever people are going towards him.

Berbi...hm, Saha, Silvestre, £10m and then extra money for taking Saha!

The thing I dont understand about the whole Tevez affair, is why we didn't go for Torres while Liverpool were sniffing about. Maybe then we wouldnt be in this discussion. But that would also bring the point of getting the number 2 target. Cantona himself was a second option when we aquired him from Leeds, most united fans at the time thought that fergie was mereley strengthening the squad and the football world was relativley shocked by the transfer, it wasnt for a few months after the move that everyone saw what a signing it was.

Maybe I'm biased about Brown (flatmate was at school with him)

ronaldo, it is scary, and if Nani and anderson are half as good as the rumours, It'll be top quality football on show.

either way we need another striker. We cant expect Ronaldo to keep being top scorer and winning us trophies, I'm sure Rooneys' game will come about soon enough, we saw flashes last season, unfortunatley the brilliance seems to come with a temper worse than Keanos (who was also a second choice).

I has a feeling this may be going off subjct though. To the point of the topic:

West Ham have stated they own the players registration to play in England while his Agent holds the actual players registration as a player. West Ham state they have to agree to allow a sale of Tevez and the FA say they will back them all they way.

However, FIFA will back Manchester United all the way if needed. Plus it's illegal to discuss a contract with a player without the consent of the club to which the player is registered. If Man united did not have the consent of West Ham united to talk to the player they would be jeapordising league rules and therefore the rumours and negotiations would not have got to this stage.

West Ham would not want further investigation into the initial transfers of both Argentines last season, yes they have paid 5.5M as penalty, but its still possible that a sale would get them out of the water fully. Which is why the league have insisted that the club get the majority of the transfer money and the agent a smaller amount, which was also nicely timed with the suggestions that he would not be moving without West Hams consent
