I used to be quite good at a certain sport, although nowadays I'm fairly out of shape and couldn't do it any more. But in my prime I made quite a lot of money at it in various contests. But, I was once telling people about this on another forum which shall remain nameless, and they didn't believe me, all took the piss and basically called me a liar. So I'm fucked if I'm gonna bother again. Rolling Eyes

Oh sweeeeetie...do tell!

I'm great at distance cycling and running! Also pretty good at football!

I was great at pool and fairly ok at shooting.

In me yoof I threw the javelin at county level, and was pretty good in gymkanas.
But that was when God was a boy, these days I excel at tiddlywinks. (I kid you not, no one can beat me!).

Excel? That's a big word!

Well I enjoy cycling! Used to compete in Cycle Speedway in my younger years (approx 12 yrs ago), and now just ride for commuting, and a pleasure. I got introduced to the track a few months ago and have acquired a old fixie, so hope to start soon.

I like long rides, but what I do doesn't really count as long distance, it's only up to 55 miles - but on my hard tail mtb. I hope for a few longer rides next year.

I've starting running, but I'm crap at the moment! Only done it 4 times this year and can manage about 0.75 miles without stopping and run a 1.5 mile route (very slowly! Laughing ) along a canal in Stone when I'm working there.
