Hmmm, so Sunderland sign Ex-Forest man Andy Reid to help them beat the drop... class act in the Championship, be interesting to see how he gets on in the Premiership...

I don't think he's good enough to be a premiership player.

It's like a lot of players that go up from the championship to the premiership - Too good for the championship - but not quite good enough for the premiership.

Well...with 6/7/8 ex man united players..he had to get some other players in, didn't he?!

Well if he isn't signing ex-United players, Keane seems to go for Irish ones! Laughing

Andy Reid has never really had a proper crack at the Premiership but I do agree that he probably is one of those "Too good for Champ, not good enough for the Prem" players (Sunderland had/ have a number of players that fall into that category, hence why they keep yo-yo-ing between the Championship and Premiership).

I expected a lot more from Keane this season, especially considering the money he has spent.
He'll keep Sunderland up but considering what he has spent its nothing much to shout about...

I think if they could get Kieron Richardson on the pitch a bit more, they would be a few points better off. He was never a United player, but he does have some quality, and has shown before how he can make a difference to a team that lacks quality.

Keane will be a good manager, he just needs time and a chance to learn from his mistakes. Hes bringing in players that for the most part he knows and trusts, but they were never going to be top half.
