any "twat" can kick one but only the gifted ones and kick it in a beautiful fashion.

Still football for me. Anybody that knows me should know by now that I'm a football nut. And I don't just say it to impress men. I do actually know the majority of the rules (not all - some of them are a little confusing thanks to the referee's!!!)
One thing that pisses me off though..is the guys in the pub at half time that ALWAYS take the time out to try and explain the offside rule to me. They ALWAYS use salt/pepper shakers/glasses/drink mats..haha.
If you don't like football..don't pretend to JUST to impress people. That pisses me off with a lot of women. They say "oh, I like football, I support *insert a team here*" so you ask them who their favourite player is..and they can't even bloody name one!
Rant over.

Rugby Union all the way. I can't be doing with watching grown men pretend to get kicked and then writhe all over the pitch as they do in football.
Real men play rugby!

My mum said I was too pretty to play rugby, so I played football. Funnily enough, my brother was actually allowed to play rugby.

i played Rugby league and Football at school, but I've always been a football fan.
Now I can't stand Rugby league, but I do love Union internationals. I just never got into club Rugby.
Tennis is my second favourite sport as a spectator.

There is always one awkward git, so this time it may as well be me
I prefer to watch American football whenever I can (which is rare unfortunatly) and not "Soccer", the comment on overpaid fairies for soccer players seems very apt.
As for rugby, I cant say I have seen enough of it to pass a judgement, I certainly don't know any of the rules.
I am sure someone is bound to say that american footballers (everyone I know that does'nt watch it does) are all fairies cos of the armor they wear, but they do wear it for a reason and if u see enough games you understand why pretty fast.

Football is a gentlemans game played by thugs
Rugby is a thugs game played by gentlemen
