Don't really like watching boxing, and hence didn't see it, but glad that Hatton destroyed Castillo, a very unusual KO seeing as it was a body blow rather than head shot that finished Castillo.

Quote:
It was the first time in Castillo's 17-year professional career that he had been sent to the canvas.

"He got me good," said Castillo. "It was a perfect shot. I couldn't breathe. I couldn't get up."

Made a mockery of Castillo's brief fight talk.

Quote:
"The experience I have, the wins I have against great fighters, are my major advantages. Hatton will never have seen anything like me.

"He is used to slow, cumbersome fighters, but I have real hand-speed and that will cut him down."

it hit the floating rib and was a beaut shot. I haven seen hatton fight like that in a while. im a big fan of him though. The only thing is a lot of the people he fight are on the downside. Kostya tzu had been fighting at 'real' championship level for years.
Castillo was a excellent boxer but he certainly wasnt the best at that level.
Now he is offering floyd mayweather out, who by the way retired after fighting Oscar de la hoya. The other person he was looking at was Oscar the goldenboy himself. who had just been beaten. Hey he should take it as long as he can though.

Trouble is they mostly avoid him until they are desperate for one last fight, I think he'd do Mayweather.

hatton will have any light welterweight belt he wants tbh, he's gonna destroy everyone that stands in the ring with him, bring on mayweather i say!!!

They did tests on his punch, he hits with nearly half a ton of pressure at 30mph, castillo took 3 of those to the body lol, no wonder he went down Razz

Have you seen the amount of weight he puts on between bouts? no wonder he lost, probably spent most his training time trying to lose weight rather than perfecting his technique!
