Now Torres is terrific and fit I wouldn't swap him, but a full season from rooney or drogba would be preferable to half a season from Torres. Hoping the new medical team can make a big difference, though he mainly seems to get injured when with the Spain squad. Hmmm

| Nope..Pompey will never finish top four, But I knew Spurs would one day.
Have to wait and see if the fans of City have the desire to push them on I'm not convinced about the players City have bought..as I said to a City fan on another site last season. They are hardly in the class of players Chelsea bought, but they were already a top four team. |
I think Pompey may one day but you might not be around to see it, actually the way they are going I might not either.
Won't come down to the fans as to whether City push on, but they've quite a strong squad.

| In saying that..I'd rather see them win the league then the goons...but I cant see it.
How long will the give their manager? |
Well what spurs fan wouldn't want any other team to win ahead of the gunners, can't see that being a worry anyway unless Wenger remembers how to buy players. Wonder if Fabregas will go.
If city don't make top four or possibly win something I think the manager will be out of time at end of season. About time the gunners thought of doing that too really.

I think the clock will be ticking for Mancini from the start, and he might be having problems by chistmas if they arent close to the top four.
Not sure he did much better then Hughes last season, which is why they acquired him.
Personally I think Frabregas might go if there isnt any improvments to the team. He must want to win something..and the goons dont look like they are going to do it
Lets hope there's not egg on my face for that statement

City have a really good chance to make it to the top 4 this year.
You saw a glimpse of what Tevez is truely capable of at the end of his world cup, the last 5 minutes that ball never left his foot, he went down about 3 times and got right back up and tookthe ball again.
If wright-phillips and boetang can supply him and adebayor the ball regularly then they have a good shot at winning games.
Their defence doesnt look too sad either;
Sylvinho on LWB, Toure in the middle with veira and kompany..meh, looks decent. They just need to get rid of Steven Ireland, johnson and santa cruz
