Years ago, I put a £10 bet on Cork to win (a friend assured me it was a deadcert) --- and I lost me money!!!!
Love to watch the game - but find it easier on telly to keep an eye on what's going on....so haven't seen a game for years now.

I've only ever been to one game of hurling, a few years back when I lived in Kilkenny for a while, but I loved the whole atmosphere - the speed and agility needed, plus it's kind of fast furious and sort of violent, which I really love, which is faintly worrying....

Would love to watch some on tv but only having humble terrestrial tv means they're never shown - maybe I should get a freeview box for my Christmas present to meself
