I think I must have a simple mind because that never stops amusing me too...it kind of works with Shey Given too...in a way.

I always thought that ex-cheltnem player Danny Invinceable sounds way too cool...he should be a poilet of the future Razz

The German fella Kuntz raised a few titters when mentioned by Motson.

yeah two Russian players:

Andrei Arshavin (who was mentioned above)
and
Yuri Zhrikov (pronounced Jerk-Ov)

(they play for Zenit Saint Petersburg and CSKA Moscow respectively)

- Nicky Butt (Newcastle United)
- Tommy Mooney (formally of Watford and Birmingham, now at Segunda División B (third tier of the Spanish league) side UD Marbella)
- Bernt Haas (FC St. Gallen in Switzerland)
- Paul Dickov (formally of Man City, currently a free agent i believe)
- Olivier De Cock (Belgian, i think is currently playing for Fortuna Düsseldorf on loan from Club Bruge)

also personally i find Peter Crouch's name slightly amusing just because he is ironically tall.

there is also a South American team called Deportivo Wanka and an Austrian football ground called The Wankdorff Stadium (possibly Berne's stadium)

finally, who can forget David Seaman (formally Arsenal and England fame)
