09.05.2008, 13:50 quote
I think I must have a simple mind because that never stops amusing me too...it kind of works with Shey Given too...in a way.
I always thought that ex-cheltnem player Danny Invinceable sounds way too cool...he should be a poilet of the future

Nwankwo Kanu always makes me giggle..
As does Dean Windass
Guess that's what you get when you're easily amused
09.05.2008, 14:05 quote
Windass is a good one Muzzy Izzet always made me smile because it sounds like you are asking a question.
..Muzzy?....Izzet!?

I thought I heard that name during the game too oh well it's always good to hear what I players hobby is
09.07.2008, 13:29 quote
yeah two Russian players:
Andrei Arshavin (who was mentioned above)
and
Yuri Zhrikov (pronounced Jerk-Ov)
(they play for Zenit Saint Petersburg and CSKA Moscow respectively)
- Nicky Butt (Newcastle United)
- Tommy Mooney (formally of Watford and Birmingham, now at Segunda División B (third tier of the Spanish league) side UD Marbella)
- Bernt Haas (FC St. Gallen in Switzerland)
- Paul Dickov (formally of Man City, currently a free agent i believe)
- Olivier De Cock (Belgian, i think is currently playing for Fortuna Düsseldorf on loan from Club Bruge)
also personally i find Peter Crouch's name slightly amusing just because he is ironically tall.
there is also a South American team called Deportivo Wanka and an Austrian football ground called The Wankdorff Stadium (possibly Berne's stadium)
finally, who can forget David Seaman (formally Arsenal and England fame)
11.07.2008, 19:06 quote
how about:
old middlesboro player, jo job
brian pinas (dutch)
f. arce (mexican)
razac pimpong
r. fuchs
r. tictac
david batty
the belgian luciano crapper
and The Young Boys Of Berne, play in the Wankdorff stadium
