Never tried this before.
Where can I look to see if my squad players will be playing, or not?
Are the teams declared before matches?
And, if so, where could I find that?
(I figure if my team players are actually playing, it might help! )

i just joined the league...but my team is only an experiment. i wanna see how well i do by picking the cheapest players possible!

I'd be interested to see how that worked out.
I've gone (probably like most) for spending all the money and getting the best I can afford. I wondered if anyone had tried any other approach e.g. a team based on a national team, say England, or France, etc.

I sometimes do....Haven't yet this season though!

Don't thnk i'll win the predictions/....
