Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone is into playing/taking part in any of the more extreme sports such as power kiting, white water rafting, kayaking etc.

I watch Southend United at home. Presently this is the most extreme sport I could recommend.

Last year I did a bit of kayaking but it isnt really that extreme, and loved kites as a kid but havent got a power kite yet, though a train of flexifoils would be good

I have to say kayaking can be extreme whilst on white water, you never know whether you are going to be alive or in one piece by the bottom.

I was just intrseted in what sports everyone does, all you see on this sports section is about the sports you watch, which I have to say I am not a huge fan of.

What is extreme martial arts? Quite intrigued?

Extreme hair colouring? Just seen your new pic Ryan.

Suppose they are all how far you take them, and to some choppy water in a kayak is extreme, and others you would have to go down a waterfall

I mountainboard...

...kinda like snowboarding but less winter gear to wear and more opportunity to have a beer on the way down.

I go free running (parkour) and also snow boarding. Annoying thing was 6 weeks ago I ended up jumping from a railing to a building pillar and when I landed the foot bent right back causing the ankle to sprain ! ouch!! damn thing still isnt right!! Free running does have its risks :S Has anybody suffered some big time injuries from sports ?

I do all of those and quite a few more like mountaineering, paragliding and adventure racing. Probably because I live in Christchurch New Zealand and everything is right on the doorstep.

Dodge the bricks thrown by Wolves fans. A popular sport on West Midlands derby days.

I used to Dispatch on a motorcycle in London that was pretty extreme! Also did track-days, fractured a bone in my thumb once when I came off, first bloody session too but I didn't pay 150 quid and travel half the country to sit and watch, even if Cadwell Park is anexciting place to spectate at, so carried on for the rest of the day, accompanied by the occasional tears of pain!

Would you class scuba diving as extreme? I don't think so, not really, not unless your baiting sharks...
