He was by far the best player on the pitch last night, and against brazil the other night. He had pinpoint passes, pinpoint crosses. Set up 3 goals in 2 games...What more do you want from him. Even when he was injured in the second half, the man BLEED red white and blue! With an injured foot, he created two goals, When he left the pitch the we stoped any real attack. and the game fizzled out.
Anyone wanna eat humble pie....

Unfortunatly, I didn't watch last night, and I didn't watch last Friday. I've had enough of football, and the media circus is partly to blame.

Although I will make these points: Friday night was a friendly. I doubt Brazil were trying that hard, and from what I've heard, I'm not the only one.

Also, the Wolves team could be Estonia. If you can't play well against them, you shouldn't be playing top level football. They are 110th in the world. Come on!

they may be 110th in the world rankings. but no team this year according to sky sports at the beginning of the match has beaten them by more than 2 goals at home this year....and the simple facts are this

2 games.
4 goals
3 from crosses from Beckham

don't belittle his performances, just because like many other people you think he shouldn't be there. His passes and crosses were pinpoint, and that doesnt matter what your opponent is.

Agreed.

All this hype about we " must win against Estonia" otherwise mcclaren's out .. but then you look at the their stats in the group so far. To be frank, it's a fucking embarrassment for England that the game meant *anything* at all.

Get enough points from Russia and Croatia and maybe, just maybe, I might be vaguely impressed. 2nd place in the group should be a minimum, and 1st is where they should be.

Oh, and Beckham and Owen are our senior players now, they're setting suns, who' are our rising stars, surprising and impressing people on the world stage ? No-one young in the team is impressing me.
