It wasn't a free kick. Vidic didn't even TOUCH Jarosik.

And Saha.........don't go there. Fergie should have subbed him after his stupid 'oh, I think i'm great' stunt.

Ok, please continue the discussion on the game in an orderly and civilised manner, do not direct attacks at one club or another as it will only cause people to react angrily, i dont know why but people can be very passionate about football.

I'm deadly serious, be nice.

TO flowerangel..right seeing as the other thread is locked Rolling Eyes as was going to say if you get offended by being called 'a bird' then I'll take that back..i don't know what you liked to called but I'll go for lauz (as this is what i call my cousin as her name is laura) good to see your passionate about your footy not many females are that into it..but i personally cannot stand premiership football as there all a load of overpaid premaddonas & i agree with jeggea about the freekick, they dive & play act at every given chance to do so, the sportsmanships gone out of the game..bring on the cricket I say

I locked the other thread as
a) It was in the wrong forum
b) It was getting hostile
now let that be the end of it, its only a game after all.

Thank you.
Lauz is fine. normally it's either Laura, Laur or Laz, so it makes a nice change!

I'm into any football to be honest, not just premiership.
A lot of the premiership players do tend to dive, and I hate to see it.

I have lived in this dump my whole life, i'm sorry to say!

Well, Forest have, and always will have, a place in my heart. Only a tiny place though.
I grew up going to Forest games.

Saying that, I go to see county sometimes with friends!

Jarosik dived because that's now the done thing at the top level, sometimes to alert the ref to something subtle that wasn't obvious to spot.

In this case, there was no contact from the legs in the tackle, but Jarosik's sock was pulled when he tried to turn away, so he dived to alert the ref to it.

VERY soft free kick, all the same, but not necessarily 100% undeserved.

And I'm a Hibs fan, not a Celtic man.

I expect Man U will now be trying to give away Saha free with two bags of sprouts.

More importantly than any of that - what a simply SUBLIME free kick from Nakamura!!! Regardless of whom you support, that was gorgeous!

Jarosik dived because he's an idiot.
Vidic hardly touched him. Definately not a free kick.

United can get rid of Saha for all I care. He's an over-rated, over-arrogant idiot that can't reconise when he has a clear goalscoring chance. AND he won't run for the ball.

It was a beautiful free kick, I have to admit.

Jarosik got the free kick that won the match, so he's clearly not an idiot.

Vidic grabbed his calf, which a ref could call a foul, if he so chose (although I've admitted it's harsh).

You're a biased Man U fan. I'm a neutral.

Vidic TRIED to..but hardly touched him.

All of my friends(that support arsenal/chelsea and even liverpool said it shouldn't have been a free kick. And they taunt me whenever they can when United go wrong!

Divers need to be kicked out of football completely. It's horrible. Sad

True. Just like Beckham and Simeone, when Beckham was red carded. Foul intent doesn't have to hurt or hit, the intent can be enough for a foul.

I completely agree with you. I hate it.
