I haven’t posted here much lately after my first mad posting spree, due to all threads ending up in silly comments between 3/5 regular users, totally off topic and sometimes blatantly taking the piss out of the topic, I think this should stop. This thread has almost made it, but its starting to go off the rails…

Ok my points on this topic…

There is no dispute that love making in a committed relationship where love/feelings are involved can be some of the most powerful emotional times of ones life. But this can also cause trouble in relationships as we all know we aren’t always honest with the people we love about what we want in bed or on the kitchen table, as we don’t want the other person to go off us and decide we are just wrong. (I used to be like this, but got over those hang ups a long time ago).

How many people can honestly have a serious debate about kinky sex with a partner after a year or 2), as the rate of sex at this point has dropped off a fair bit, your not like the first 6 month sex bunnies where you could pump your output for the national grid and light up city’s.

When I’m not in a relationship, (and I have been in 4 more than 2 year relationships), you are obviously looking as I am now, and during those times we all have needs. You cant knock a one night stand, as they are hot and heavy, but lets face it they are great in your teens/twenty’s but not what most of us are looking for now. So I have been lucky I guess and have had a string of FB’s over the years. This comes down to being honest with people, if you both know what you are after that’s fine. Yes I have always been attracted to each one, and we sort of date i.e. once a week or 2 we would get together go out for dinner etc and always end up in some lovely love making/sex depending on what we both felt like at the time as there is a huge difference.

With each one of these FB relationships we have both actively encouraged each other to go out with others, and would often chat about the latest disaster date or joy and butterflies about the one last Friday etc. As soon as either one of us wanted to become committed to another the love making stops. I can say I have been great friends with all of my ex’s over times and know a lot of my old FB’ in a friendship way, I even have been to 2 of their weddings.

So please don’t knock sex / love making out of a relationship as really we have all been there and don’t be hypercritical, it might not be what you want at the time but we all have an itch that’s needs a scratch sometimes…

Question, how many of you have ever contacted an ex to scratch that itch instead of finding someone new? I would guess many, as its easier to go back to what you know than into the unknown.

i think that people posting 'silly comments' as you say, is just a way for the 3/5 people to inject some humour and fun into the boards..and you can always ignore this and post 'over the top of them'..so to speak..otherwise this place would be full of peoples misery and depression. And also, these regulars have heard the same things over and over again..so dont knock 'em..join in..
