"Women call other women sluts?"

Is anyone really this small minded anymore ? If they are then why are you near them ? Hearing this makes me think of some small local pub like out of emmerdale farm where everyone knows each other and you can hear the people on the next table whispering about you.

marry em. If women get called sluts for having casual love then god knows what the small minded fuckheads would make of me. Maybe they do talk about me but im not there to hear it coz i wouldnt want to be in the same place as those people, i hang out with people like me.

My point is do whatever you want to do, as long as its consensual then who cares ?

Sorry, when I say "women call other women" sluts, it's a fairly harsh generalisation - but it's generally made worse by the fact even the most decent of girls has the urge to gossip about other girls. It's an acceptance thing, much like guys like to prove their manliness to each other - girls just (generally) gossip and degrade other women around them.

You're right, the feminist movement is a load of crap nowadays but it was very important when the original message was there. Nowadays, equality's pretty much sorted out, and racial equality is still lingering in the balance.

My only problem is that people still inexplicably link love with relationships, when they're only related because the two can exist together. But there are plenty of times when they shouldn't. If you find someone you enjoy love with, have a solid relationship with, even commiting to each other, fine.

I just don't think people should then bring love into the arguement. I play bloody tennis with one of my best mates. I have a relationship with her, and could easily have love - but we don't. Not because I don't fancy her, or think love would make things complicated - but because love isn't relevant to the situation. The same should apply to a relationship, love (not for procreation, simply for pleasure) is just a pleasure.

Sorry for the rant. I've been called a whore over the past few days quite a few times, it wouldn't normally bother me, but i'm letting it out.

I've only slept with 3 people. My knowledge of love, as well as my experiences, are what have labelled me a whore apparently.

I have only gossiped about other girls a couple of times. And i didn't even mean it to be horrible towards them, either.

I did in fact mean that it is crap now.

I have a lot of male friends, that i haven't had love with. In fact, i get along better with males than i do females. Because females can be bitchy, not all, but most.

We all need to rant sometimes!
Nobody has the right to call you a whore, especially those that don't even know you.

And apparently i'm more of a whore compared to you...!

My label of whore was never said in a bad way anyway, but I think society's a little misunderstanding about what exactly constitutes a prostitute - and although i'd happily let someone pay me for love, it's not something I need or particularly have the urge to do.

Apparently being sexually confident just makes most people uncomfortable Very Happy

Ah well!

You have to bear my age (20) - most of the girls I hang around with are just that, girls. They're still at the stage where dressing to impress is number one one their list of priorities (be warned, i'm generalising the girls I know, not all women!) make-up and mobile phone are their "survival gear" and gossip is their native tongue.

Bitchiness pretty much comes as standard from a lot of them.

Bear in mind, these are the people who probably can't get laid themselves, so some kind of cruel twist of fate rewards those who will suffer Very Happy

True.

Some of the guys i know are fairly intimidated by me because of the way i am about some things.

Some guys would expect a girl to slag a guy off because he has casual love or whatever. Whereas i don't slag guys off for it. Very Happy

That's how it should be. Bear in mind, i'm not advocating men using women for love. There's a difference between than and casual, and you should still give them a black eye for using women Very Happy

And that is why i have more male friends than females friends.

I'm one of the girls whos ear is not attached to a phone. I dress how i want to dress, and not to impress. I will leave the house without make up.

You could say i'm abnormal for an 18 year old girl.

Nah, you're not. You're just breaking away from this annoying American culture that's been drifting into the UK over the past 10 years. 8-year-old girls plastered in makeup, babies getting their ears pierced at Claires Accessories and all that rubbish...

There's lots of girls out there just like you who find men to be better company, it's because we take things with a pinch of salt. We're not just beer drinkers anymore, and now that women have equal rights, they can do some of the more stressful jobs while we have a break for a few generations Wink

It's different when a woman uses a man. A man will use a woman for sexual gratification, whilst women will do it for some kind of control.

There are less obvious motives behind a girl doing it, which is why it's far worse. Especially makes spotting it harder.

I didn't even start wearing make up until i was like 15. It was pretty much forbidden in my parents house.

Guys do tend to see me as 'one of the guys' though, and sometimes i get a little sick of that. I mean, obviously, i dress girly, i like shopping(but i only go about once or twice a month, rather than once a week like some girls)
But i'd rather be in a pub on a saturday or sunday afternoon watching football rather than shopping/gossiping/lunch with female friends/whatever.

When you put it like that, you're right.

It's made worse by the fact that if a girl turns a guy down for love, her friends will encourage her, support her.

If a guy turns a girl down, especially one they consider "good looking", he'll be made to suffer. It's a twisted kind of logic, fortunately it balances out the "men using women for love" theory too. There are bad people on both sides of the genders.

Yeah..
I was in the pub after college today, and there were these drunk guys giving a guy shit because he didn't 'pull' at the weekend. I just wanted to go over and tell them all to shut up. Rolling Eyes
