Over the past few months I have found that regular sexercise is wonderful for giving the cardio-vascular system a workout (and helps clear out a few internal cobwebs), but not overly successful for helping with weight loss.
In many cases sexercise replaces other healthy activities that one undertook when they were single and/or celibate, such as dog walking, which has a far higher success rate as far as weight loss is concerned. Sexercise is not overly successful as a means of losing weight, as the regime is often accompanied with the likes of mutually agreeable lazy lie-ins (sometimes at the expense of longer morning dog walks) and indulging in unhealthy snacks in-between sexercise sessions (Galaxy Minstrels, Haagen Das and chocolate Hob Nobs springs to mind).
It would be nice if someone could find a way to combine the almost instant calorie burning benefits (not to mention instant gratification) of sexercise with the long term benefits of gradual, healthy weight loss from the likes of regular dog walking, cycling, running, etc.
I suppose one could always shag the dog after walking it across a few tors on Dartmoor.
