Is it true that men only get a surge in their sex drives in their early teens and women have them as they get older? I watched a documentary about it but it was many years ago now anyone shed any light on this subject?

From how I remember hearing a while ago, men are reckoned to reach their peak at about 18 years old, and women are at their peak at more like 30

I've heard that as well. Apparently there is a paradox where men are more active when in late teens early 20's and women more active late 30's and 40's.

But when I was 12/13/14 years old I wanted to wank non stop. Had to do it when the wind blew. On another messageboard I go on where there are a lot of divorced 30/40 year olds, all they talk about is masturbating every minute. So there could be something in it. Most women I have been with seem to want sex non stop lol

It depends, when im idle my sex drive goes through the roof, but when im up to my eyeballs in work my sex drive takes a serious dive.

Men could be horny as hell at 18 because they simply have less to do then.

Is a sex drive the same thing as kerb crawling? I don't have a car, so no driving for me


Sex drive for men = when we're young, we're horny all the time and have sex with all our middle-aged neighbours frustrated wives. When we're middle-aged, we're horny most of the time, and want to have sex with all our middle-aged neighbours daughters.

i'm 25 horny all the time and dont get any! So i guess as i get older i will want it less, its all down hill from here lol...

Since I hit 30 it has gone through the roof. To the extent where I ended up seeing my GP about it (we're talking borderline priapism here), where I was told 'be thankful'. It seems the more I get the more I want.

I do know that for men it's supposed to be when your 18 that you pretty much hit sexual peek......

As for sex drive well I really havent changed at all since I was 15........I really say this not as a brag but more in embarassment in truth lol. I seem to have a pretty high sex drive.

It can make relationships more difficult because if you are seeing someone who is more than happy to only have sex once a week for example it puts a strain on things.

Ah well the only thing I have learned is I would rather have sex with a girl I loved once a week than a girl I couldn't care less for 20 times a week.
