i think the one night stands r better cos ina lot of cases one of the fuck buddies may start to look towards having a proper relationship.

me personally? Id prefer sex buddies all the way, less awkwardness and they r at hand if there r spiders in the bathroom!
I guess i jus like the feel of having a sexual relationship & frendship wit sum1 without all the bs of a full on, lock down relationship.

I am currently looking at going back to this kind of relationship. As mentioned elsewhere on the forum recently, I now find all those long-winded rituals before someone even decides whether they like me enough to want to meet me rather tedious (the conversations sound like me doing my broken record impression). At the end of the day, if you have an f**k buddy (I prefer the term 'friends with benefits', or FWB) you know where you stand from day one - I think FWB's work better if it's not just sex related, and you're seeing someone, for example, with similar interests so you can sometimes do social things together. I must admit that I prefer some kind of mutual exclusivity with FWB's. If it develops into anything long term, great.
