Well sometimes being bold and showing off everything or almost everything can be just as exciting as not showing anything.
I think showing more can make you think more of "I want to go to bed now" whereas showing less would make you think "Will they ever let me in their bed?" I think they're both pretty exciting.

I like the top few buttons open idea as this is great when a women bends down to pick something up. It's these little moments that are few and far between that send my heart racing. Just a glimpse of some flesh, a neck being exposed as she turns around to hear the commotion thereby exposing the big round earrings that i love so dearly and the hair being flung back (I should have made commercials for a living), a tight short skirt riding up the leg revealing more of the thigh than she intended to when she woke up that day.
