Yes, after a year of thinking about love i would like to feel loved and wanted again. No matter what i will not do a one night stand as i get attached and i cannot separate love from the relationship in this way that others seem to be able to do so easily. Sometimes i wish it were different for the sake of love since this is a wonderful feeling to have but this will never happen.

I have known some people that have not had love for years. I mean more than 3 and up to 7. I would go crazy and i am getting close to that now. I am just glad i am not some love mad, crazy, loved up, teenage, monkey with hormones because i might be telling you a different story altogether.

It's the companionship of a woman, more than the love, that I need.

The hormones are still strong (even at my advanced years!), but I'll happily settle for a cup of tea and a chat with a true ladyfriend rather than go for a one-nighter with a stranger.

No your not sick, you just value love alot more than most guys .......... which is good thing ........... i have been seeing a guy for 2 months now and believe it or not we didn't have love until last week ........... he didn't want to think that that's all he was with me for .......... and believe me i thought that a little strange cus most blokes just want to jump into bed at the first opportunity ............. but it was lovely at the same time

Must have been nice i presume. Usually the first time with somebody new it's a bit weird till things settle down and you figure out what the other person likes.
