What is the difference to you ? Have my own opinion on this but am interested in what others have to say.

Which do you prefer?

Prefer to make love, tho' the occasional wham, bam, thankyou ma'am approach has it's place even within an established relationship The difference for me is that love making tends to be a more gentle approach where more care and attention is taken to what the other likes/both like... f*cking is as described above.... penatration, and hard and fast at that Twisted Evil

Sex is never meanlingless.

I think its down to communication. Sometimes people express themselves through physicality.

What do I mean by that ?

Well, Sometimes when you can't find the words a hug or a squeeze of the hand can speak volumes. That isn't always to do with sex or sexual desire its just a common form of human contact, communication if you like.

Fucking is lustful , making love is a higher, deeper form of communication, a better understanding between two people, an expression of emotional understanding, much more of a bond between two people than just fucking.

Fucking can be baseless it can be crude it can be an expression, its based on a desire as well though. It can be objectifying, its very, very subjective. It is down to the situation and the people involved.

I don't think its as black and white as we like to think it is there are lots of grey areas.

If people use sex as their only means of communication then there is something wrong with the way that they communicate.

making love is more about the time spent with someone you want to spend time with, fucking is time spent to achive a goal, that goal being orgasm
and there is no prefrerence, its all about the mood your in at the time. but on the other hand... you cant make love to a stranger, you can fuck them., but within a relationship built on trust, and acctually knowing each other, then you can have bet of both worlds.. just my opinion

Sex is never meaningless, its an expression. If a negative, seemingly meaningless act, you are still acting with some sort of desire. It may not feel the same for both involved as well. Thats why I said it isn't as black and white as people think.

You can't fake horniness , well not as a man anyway.

Making love is much more meaningful than fucking but that doesn't make fucking meaningless exactly.

I understand what was meant. Smile

If both people feel an emotional detachment from the situation and it is just a pure act then I would accept that. It isn't always the case though that two people feel _exactly_ the same about that. It's how hurt comes about.

I guess it's all down to communicating which brings it back to my original point. Ive known some people just use sex as a form of communication because they are inept at expressing themselves in other ways and that is a problem.

Or more to the point. Only guys.

If female escorts or prostitutes formed emotional attachments every time they had sex think what a mess that would create.

It can happen to both Men and Women.
