i think you only notice them if the person makes a masive deal about them!! and even then there not really a turn off! most people have stretch marks somewhere on there body, i mean im 24yrs old im about 6ft in height i weigh just under 11 stone and i have stretch marks from when i was younger! i can understand why people would feel self concious about them but i would definately say they arnt a massive turn off!!

Stretch marks should be renamed - Life lines.

Most of us have them for some reason or another. They can look more ugly to yourself than others, and if you don't make a great deal about them the other person might not even notice.

I know ladies can get a major complex especially after child birth but if he/she doesn't like them.... Then they don't like you. Cool

I think I agree with others here. I'd only notice if you made a big deal about them.

Not sure why I came to this forum though, I only have love with a woman if I have strong feelings for her. So in effect, I'd be too much in love for stretch marks to bother me.

I seriously don't think that it can be a turn off. In any case, if it is, then its only to yourself. Even I had stretch marks before but I've treated it well & now they seem to have disappeared. I had a serious problem with mine, I stopped anything & everything that could expose them to others. Embarassed

I never even gave any thought to my stretch marks until this thread Confused now I can see I've got plenty, but I intend to forget them again pretty fast.

I have been with a partner who had stretch marks. She never made a deal about tham so i didn't either. Didn't make her any less sexy.
I have scars all over my chest and belly which i was self-conscious of when i was younger but i think age and life experiences put things into perspective and superficial things like that become far less an issue.

I really must concurwith Tryst and Julian on this one!

After a kick in the mouth (playing rugby ) I had what i thought was a nasty scar on my top lip! I even sprouted whiskers to hide it! Years later i shaved the fungus off and hey no one noticed it!
