Why is it that 2 girls kissing are always appealing but 2 men kissing almost never are? Whilst on the subject... Regardin 3somes... Why do most men not want another man in their relationship, but when it comes to havin another woman they always beg for it? That's plain selfishness. Anyone got n answer?

As for kissing, I aint bothered if men kiss, I just aint into it myself, and could never do it. I always think a kiss is a lot more intimate than actual sex, for some weird reason, too ..

I agree with Russ's point really....when people kiss it seems a lot more intimate than having sex...people have no strings sex just to have a bit of fun but kissing is on a whole different level for some reason...I wouldnt have a problem with having a MMF threesome but obviously i would prefer to have it the other way! I wouldnt have a problem with being naked & passionate in front of another bloke but never TOWARDS him! I think a threesome is always about sharing the minority! e.g if its MMF then the Female gets all the attention & if its FFM then the Male is the lucky one...still hasnt answered your question i suppose!

Ok, this isn't going to answer the kissing thing either, but I have heard another theory as to why men prefer two women.

Basically, the idea is that unless your girlfriend was a rampant bi before, the chances of her going off with the other woman are low. However, if she is straight and there are two men, she might contrast and compare, and end up going off with the other bloke.

Not a personal belief, but something I have heard.

It might be a territorial thing.

I've seen a lot of devised workshops where men working with other men they haven't met before show a body language of aggression, or stand offishness. When women are in the mix or its women with women that isn't the case.

As for the kissing thing. Women are the embodiment of sexual focus in society, the female body is the most portrayed, desired, marketed, observed and therefore colonised thing in circulation. Maidenhood and sluttyness are vitrues/traits generally associated soley with women. The female body and therefore the kiss represents an awful lot to both sexes so when we see two women kiss it makes sense. As love and desire is something we associate with the female body.

The Male body however is a functionary thing. It can represent power, opression, heroism.... but its not marketed as desirable. Our clothes aren't designed to be revealing like womens are. Our Identification and status comes from the tasks we do in life things like 'Fireman','policeman','milkman' is what gives us our gender based identity.

So men kissing doesn't make sense because the functionary gender traits we associate with men are in conflict when it happens.

Oh and one other thing... It seems to me that the FFM would imply at least some kissin between the women as for the MMF which wouldn't imply any kissin between the men... Hm... Just another thought, but I'm sure the answer can be found in the "why 2 women kiss hot 2 men kiss not" thang.
