i have no idea where this came from, i was typing out my book again and it just poured into my head..

Blissfully unaware of your natural beauty
A status symbol and given to many
Vibrant colouring and thorns so sharp
So sharp they pierce the unsuspecting heart
As crimson blood runs down your stem
Your flowers open out again
Loved by many for your hardy nature
For your true beauty and public stature
You are the Rose,
