Hi everyone I am new to the P & L forum I have been reading everyones poetry for hours I am amazed at how brilliant you all are!

One poem that took me by suprise was Louby's poem & the response by eternalpoet: she said
"i write poetry myself, and belong to a poetry group, but i like reading other peoples as well, it can give a good window into a persons unconscious mind and inner feelings" check it out there is a lot more on the thread called "a little piece of my life".

I like to just right poems spontaneously & just let the pen flow with my feelings...I have noticed that a lot of inner feelings are released through poetry & I wanted to start this thread.....So sit there & relax for half a minute or so & then just write a poem...doesnt matter if it rhymes or makes sense or whatever, just type what comes into your head! Try to take no more than 5 or 10 minutes & no cheating!

Your smile cheers me up like a hot summers day in the middle of spring
releases hidden emotions from deep deep within....makes me want to shout & to sing...you make every single one of my emotions spin...picture of innocence as though you never commited a sin...please open your heart so I can find my way in...

What I would do just to lay with you in the lush green grass....Staring into eachothers eyes as the day goes past until we're under a blanket of stars...Make the day last long into the evening & the evening last long into the dark night...feel so free we could just grow wings & just take flight....to be with you there is no battle that I won't fight...All my strength all my power all my might....just for a slight chance we could share a day & share a night...& share the morning's first light....

I fell in love today...again..don't know why I keep doing this to myself but I get a bizarre vibe each and every time...
I must learn to stay in love with just myself and next time dream the fantasy away...
People come and go but myself keeps me company no matter what..
Parents are weak..minds are strong and friends are forever more...
