Wrote this about a year ago, not my best, but thought I'd show it for the heck of it.
Trapped with your ego, figure you cut
Modified hair and eyes so bloodshot
Tragic figure born from a memory lost
A time you once knew yourself
A time that you lost
Your microcosmos
Your microcosmos
Bleak, bleak, future is bleak
The fashion hides your beautiful lies
Brain over beauty now matter over mind
So bleak, bleak, the future is bleak
Your microcosmos
Your microcosmos
Being yourself so hard to master
Knowing your mind so hard to fathom
Being yourself so hard to master
Knowing yourself so hard to fathom
Being yourself, you are the master
Knowing your mind, so deep to fathom
Your microcosmos
Your microcosmos
Tragic figure born from a memory lost
A time you once knew yourself
A time that you lost

bleak, bleak...bleak (existentialism)!
Definatley conveys something though; the rapid and sluggish cyclical thoughts within the vast microcosmos, perhaps? Ever J G Ballard? - he the fearless British explorer of the marginal tunda, desserts and forests of the psyche whether real or percieved. he good!
