Forever Searching

I walk through life with my eyes closed, I hear her voice, I smell her scent.
My eyes open but no one is there.
I look to the stars but nothing can reach me.
In fleeting moments I feel her love,
a glance a moment of glory.

Where is she?

A touch a kiss a moment of bliss.
Then nothing,
I awake and feel her presence a caress an emotion but then its gone.
Sensual and open I share her warmth but then all goes cold again.

Where is she?

I despair, I dream but nothing seems real, my heart aches for her.
I feel so small in a world so big.
She soothes my fears even with the falling of my tears.

Where is she?

Even in the darkness I can see her light.
Our paths do cross yet we never know
for my soul is shrouded in doubt.
I will keep looking, I will keep moving,

Forever searching.
