this is a shorter poem for me but I would like to know what some of you think about it. I am new at this and i don't typically et ppl read my poems so this is different for me.
Under its cool shade
The mind does dream of passion
A love yet to come
Caresses from skillful handle
Kisses that leave desire
Naked flesh touching
A warmth that reaches the soul
Finding myself for ever lost
In this realm of ecstasy
To dream under a plum tree

YOUR BLONDE HAIR
BEWARE IS HIDEING YOUR GLARE
I DO SHARE WITH YOU ON THING THERE
I AM YOU TOO TWO IN ONE WE STARE
REVEAL YOUR FULL FACE LIKE THE MOON
THATS MY BOON
IM NOT A LOON
NOR ALONE
I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS EVEN AT NOON

i quite liked that, it was quite refreshing. its nice to read something with a bit of intimacy in it, and i like the idea of the plum tree, it has sexual connotations all of its own
but to me the written word, especially poetry, needs to create imagary in the mind of the reader, i think you have managed to do that very well here. that line
'A love yet to come'
could be suggesting that the poem is about masturbation or perhaps just a longing for a deeper more fulfilling sexual experience.
