When I saw you on my computer screen, my eyes lit up with joy,
As there staring back at me, was this gorgeous handsome boy.
You sent me a message on Flirtbox, and I added you as a friend.
I saved your picture in my files, and I sent you a message then.

You answered me almost instantly and nervous you made me feel,
I read your words and they made me smile, but my heart I knew you’d steel.
We text each other a thousand times and eventually we did speak.
Your voice so soft and gentle made my knees all soft and week.

I met you just Monday gone, nervous and scared was I
But I knew the instant I opened the door, I wouldn’t have to try.
You were standing there in front of me, looking handsome and extremely fine,
I opened the door and let you in and wanted you to be mine.

You looked directly into my eyes and told me they had a sparkle.
And continued throughout the night to make my eyes dazzle.
I melted inside my heart and did not know what to do,
I wanted to say back to you, “It’s because I am looking at you. “

The night now has come and gone, so quickly did it go,
Your thoughts for me now, I surely do know.
XXXX XXXX, I like you back, but I do not know what to do.
It has taken me all by surprise the thoughts I have of you

I will wait until you are ready, to date me now and then,
But if this is not what you want, please tell me when you ken.
If things go well between us, off Flirtbox I will surely come.
As I know the time I’ll spend with you, can only be described as fun.

This is a poem that I wrote a long time ago for someone that I thought was the one. I think I have realised after 9 months that he isn;t. I didn't meet him here. I put it on just to let people see it can happen.
