An ode to the place I’ve never been

Witnessed by everything that’s unseen

My lips are dry, I pass through the gates

Chanting the hymns of everything that fades

I reach the throne with cascading light

Singing the verses of everything bright

Whilst dubious love of thy bloody sword

Would have taken me away to the cursed scaffold

Thus I hide my face from sorrow & pity

And runaway forever to the endless eternity.

Very nice. Solemn with a hint of regret.
