i drink to stop my mind from racing,
to many thoughts, i end up pacing,
back and forth through out the night,
passing windows, until its light.

the darkness is my motivation,
while you sleep , i am creation,
devising new ways to compensate,
for our mistakes.. but its to late.

there is no way to undo the past,
our options are dissipating fast,
i think we have as a species failed,
all the best plans have been derailed,

evolution stopped right in its tracks,
we bring back folks from heart attacks,
no longer the weak left behind,
humanity is way to kind.
