detective story
are you sitting comfortably,
then ill spin you a tail,
its by no means an epic,
its just not on that scale,
in the dark corner of a seedy bar,
he sat sipping his burbon on the rocks,
his raincoat worn out at the elbows,
and you could tell that so where his socks,
he sat waiting for "her" to arrive,
the lady who had hired his time,
remebering the day she called at his office,
being woken by the door bell chime,
she walked through the door seductivly,
which was a wasted effort indeed,
for the door was locked when she walked through it,
so the broken glass made her bleed,
but this "lady" had sparked his interest,
maybe it was that burning kiss?
she should have removed the cigarette,
and his mouth wouldn't have felt like this.
just then a tall man past his window,
not something that had happened before,
he could tell that it was a tall man,
his office was on the 3rd floor,
there is more to this story,
there is so much more to say,
but right now i need some sleep,
so ill save it for another day.
