i only ask because i'm writing a book myself, it's only about 400 pages so far but then i've only been writing it since the beginning of january. Planning on having it finished by july, then i have to save up around £5500 to get it published, unless i can get it endorsed. should be a giggle !!
Anyone else into writing books or has anyone sucessfully writen and published one?? |
So what is this book about then?

My other half has had some books published. I wish I had the patience, one book can take years to research, write...then find an agent, get a publisher interested blahblah.
I myself have had a few shorter articles in various magazines/journals, but mostly gratis and not enough to make me rich sadly haha.

I'll buy a copy (seriously), not cos it sounds good, but cos I can then say to people, yeah, I've got a new book, I know this author......
(That has got to be the saddest thing I have ever written on here)
But I will buy a copy though, can I have it signed:
To Jony Mack (Superstar), you are my hero, s6boystu (kiss kiss)

Well that makes me sadder than you megalone cuz I can say "Yes, I know the author personally actually.....sniff sniff.....he's my boyfriend" and do that awful sarah fergason sloan ranger laugh......(I never have though!).

there's that attitude again tut tut, mhmm I can be the same though, write something and then read it and think oh dear, and why exactly did I write that? I like depressing poetry, but I'm strange, I think it gives a poem feeling... |
Not strange at all. I think spike milligan wrote some of his best stuff in his darkest moments.

I think everybody has got at least one book within them, because everybody has a story or three to tell from their lives.
I had quite an original idea on how to write my biography, but i am going to hold on to it until it is time, i have more living to do yet.
