The newest - literally just written it..

-------------------------------------------

would you?

If i gazed into your eyes...
would you look away?
If i were feeling sad...
would you smile and brighten up my day?
If you cried
would you let me wipe the tears away?
If you were scared
would you let me help you overcome your fears?
if i were feeling lost and lonely
would you help me back on track?
if i told you that i loved you
Would you lie and say it back...

-----------------------------------------------

The older one ( about 3 weeks old )

-------------------------------------------------

Missing you

My minds messed up
I don't know what to do
Every moment i'm awake
I can't help thinking of you
You probably haven't realised
The others haven't too
That every day i miss you
There's things i'd like to say
The problem is that i know
That you don't feel the same way..

----------------------------------------------

i quite like writing although.. i dunno if it's just me but most of my 'poems' seem depressing? lol.

2 good poems, I like how they both start really intense but then in the end end negatively, the last lines make these. A lot of my poetry is morbid and depressive, but I htink good work comes from fucked up feelings/thoughts. I think it's a lot harder to write something happy, as we are human and unfortunately have a lotta crap to deal with in this life, it's a constrictive outlet

yeah i must admit i am usually in a very strange 'mindset' when the poems start to come together - they usually just flow straight into my head

I used to have a folder that had about 5 years worth of poems / short stories etc in it, but my ex decided it would be funny to burn it one night because she couldn't get her own way on something trivial Rolling Eyes
