I agree with the earlier post, there are girls who like slayer and they should be worshipped!

You don't need to be criminally insane or a spirit in black! I'm a 20 year fan and have seen many girls at the gigs.
Just wish I could find one for myself!! Twisted Evil

If girls want to settle for second best( slipknot, pantera, gimp bizket)then that's fine.

Woh woh woh, Pantera.. second best? They're very much on par with Slayer, not to mention Dime and Vinnie had so much more talent technically.

Big slayer fans as i'm sure you'll know, have their own stereotype of being big bald scary looking guys with big beards. And usually crazy and violent lol

So if i saw 2 eally nice looking girls in front of me, one a Slayer fan, and one Pantera... i'd be kissing the Pantera fan's feet.

Well.. 1 because i love Pantera, and 2 because the slayer girl's dad would probably throttle me.

I am not a girl I am a man but with a love for rock music in general. I find Slayer a bit heavy for me and strays too much into hip hop for my liking but I always dance to Mandatory Suciede if they play in clubs - which is usualy every week.

For most girls it is probably a bit heavy and dark.

I actually see far more girls in my local rock club than I do in several indie clubs however.

I think as time's gone on 'heavy metal' in general has become less male dominated, so nowadays it's probably more likely than ever that women will like bands such as Slayer. In my opinion not just hard rock but all contemporary music is still male dominated, look at the proportion of all-male bands compared to all-female? Why is that? Something's wrong somewhere.

If you switch the letters of 'Slayer' about, you get 'Relays'. Can this be done with their lyrics to make them suitable listening for the over-75's one wonders...

I used to love Slayer (saw them live 4 or 5 times) but it all gets a bit samey. I stopped listening after 'Diabolus in Musica'. Listen to one Slayer album, you've heard them all. Not so much into thrash/death metal anymore but you can't do much worse than bands like Testament, Megadeth and Carcass. Industrial is more my bag these days. Ministry, Revolting Cocks, Prong, Godflesh and the awesome Front Line Assembly. That sh*t REALLY kicks ass!!! Super

You can understand women liking Slayer more then the a-typical death band, like Cannibal Corpse. Having said that there were loads of women at the last Napalm gig I went to. Sweet

Charles Manson slayed a few people and girls absolutely loved it and joined in the blood bath... does that count?!
