Some of the bands you listed are quality, odd one okay and some shite.

I like coldplay! Not all of their songs, but a good few

They are good for background music, but I prefer something that catches the emotions better and for me that is practically anything else.

Only a fan of the rush of blood to the head album with Amsterdam being my fav

I love them, wasn't too sure about their latest album at first, but it's a grower. Been listening to a lot of their early stuff lately, especially this b-side called "Bigger Stronger" - wonderful song.
