I never really think of The Beatles or Pinkfloyd as being rock bands.... I've had a bit of a phase listening to Deep Purple lately and still love their early stuff

Good agreeable choices above and Ill throw in Iron Maiden, Foo Fighters, My Chemical Romance, Stone Roses and Radiohead.

Things like this are so difficult to decide, there's so much that you have to base it on, and no band really fills all of the Criteria.
just because they tick most boxes though I'd say the Rolling Stones, though there are bands that I prefer to them...

I do think that some people have a problem with What Rock is ???
But no matter's as they are just putting down what they like at the end of the day ..!!

For me the old school Rock was the best .. Very Happy Very Happy
There are so many ...
WHITESNAKE , have to be near the TOP the likes of Rainbow , Deep Purple and i can not remember the other group but they all had X members of BLACk SABBATH..

But then we are talking ROCK to METAL then ..

Even LED ZEP have been known to be HEAVY ROCK ..
There is different types of ROCK Laughing Laughing :lol
SOFT or HEAVY ...

SABBATH were the best at the time and AC/DC track wise ...

And to be truthful are still at the TOP now ..Look how many years they have been there ...!!

Many of the groups today come and go ..And that is that , and use some of the Old School stuff to lorch their new carreers. Confused Confused

I have to say ,QUEEN were good too..!!!EASY listening music .. Razz
