Ooh! That lady has taste. I'd still quite like to be Brett Anderson.

My first single was "Thomas O'Mally The Alley Cat" from The Aristacats, swiftly followed by Father Christmas Do Not Touch Me" by The Goodies. Not exactly off to the most sophisticated of starts.

The first single I bought was Don't Eat the Yellow Snow/Camarillo Brillo by Frank Zappa and the Mothers, and that was on vinyl.

I don't know if this counts because I bought them all at the same time? I went on a bit of a splurge that day I think. However, the first albums I bought were Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd, Blow by Blow by Jeff Beck both on vinyl. And Electric Ladyland by Jimi Hendrix, Kind of Blue by Miles Davis and Layla by Eric Clapton (Derek and the Dominoes) on CD.
