Strangely enough I find Radiohead's album Pablo Honey to be quite upbeat. It generally cheers me up.

I listen to james blunt, can only face it on a bad day if it's a good day it's not by the time the cd's finished lol

If i'm having a bad day, i listen to the three cd's of true hardcore and have it pumping out of the car or cd player in my room! Alway's manages to cheer me up!!
