How awesome were stratovarius? I could watch them all day!
Its crazy watching bands in Germany compared to the UK. I was able to stand and just immerse myself in awe of the bands at WACKEN, yet if there is a gig here in the UK ,everyone is moshing and no-one actually pays the band any homage...crazy!
another note, line-up next year...I got a taster cd for next years wacken and although Annihilator aren't confirmed, they ARE on the CD!!! good times!

Didn't go myself but a mate of mine went and said it was awesome and really well organised. Him and a few others are trying to buy an old army truck at the moment(the ones with the wooden benches down the sides in the back) to drive all the way down to the next one in.

I wanted to go but didn't have the money or anyone to go with, and I don't fancy heading off to festival all on my lonesome.
