I love this idea (maybe it’s not new idea though?).
I was perusing one of my favourite band websites and came across this – straight after one of their gigs you can buy a USB stick with the whole gig on it in MP3 format. The company that provides the recording service also sells the MP3 and /or the USB Concert Stick online.
concert-online has quite an impressive list of gig MP3's - not much there to my own taste other than the band I orginally went to see which gigs were available for, but someone might find it interesting.

It is an awesome idea... Metallica where the first band to take up the idea... on their website they have a vault thing, where you can buy a cd for every concert they've ever played, even the gigs they did back in the 80s!
It's really cool cos when you go and see them you can get the cd and play it knowing you where there. Of course i'm still the really fussy person at concerts in the sense that i hafta wipe everything off my phone and take as many videos and pictures as possible lol
